Post-Graduate Programmes

DNB- Urology

Course: 3 seats per year.

National Board of Examination recognizes the department of urology and every year Three fresh candidates are selected through competitive entrance examination for DNB program.

Eligibility: MS/ DNB: General surgery.

Entrance examination: Examinations are held in December every year. For latest announcements regarding the date of entrance examination and DNB course, please contact National Board of Examinations, New Delhi

DM- Nephrology

Course: 4 seats per year.

Super specialty students join the department of nephrology through Gujarat University , DM entrance examination for four seats at IKDRC. The department trains them to develop the knowledge and skills required to provide the best possible care to patients throughout their career.

Eligibility: MD in General medicine/ pediatrics.

Entrance examination: Examinations are held in June-July every year. For latest announcements regarding eligibility, dates and entrance examinations, please contact post-graduate section of Gujarat University, Ahmedabad.

MD (Anesthesia) and DA (Diploma in Anesthesia)

Postgraduate students join the department through Gujarat University entrance system for Diploma in Anaesthesia for 2 yrs. or M.D. in Anaesthesia for 3 yrs. The department trains them to develop the knowledge & skills required to provide best possible care to their patients throughout their career. They are rotated to all surgical specialities associated with B.J.Medical College.The academic activities include seminars, case discussions, exams at regular intervals & tutorials. This is in addition to daily teaching activity based on the cases conducted in operation theatres & C.C.U.

 

PCCC - Post-graduate Certificate Course in Renal and Transplant Pathology

 

We are the first qualified center for teaching renal and transplant pathology recognized by Indian College and Pathologists.

Two candidate is selected every year for this course.

Eligibility: One year experience after MD (pathology).

Duration: One year, full time (January to December).

The Indian College of Pathologists awards certificate during their national conference.
